Heidi's passion for wildlife photography stemmed from a love of the natural world and the outdoors.  She always knew she wanted to work with animals in some way, growing up on a farm, it was inevitable but she was drawn to wilder subjects. Travelling around the world in 2008 Heidi realised that documenting the wildlife and habitats she saw with her camera was something she wanted to continue.

After studying Zoology at Cornwall college, Heidi worked for several wildlife charities learning more about wildlife and the threats the natural world face today.  A trip to Africa changed her life and her love for wildlife photography, as an art form has grown from there.

Heidi enjoys producing images in a 'fine art' style inviting the beauty of the natural world into peoples homes.

She has been published twice in Wildlife Photography World, a quarterly coffee table magazine that is distributed all around the world and has exhibited her Africa work in a creative and immersive experience to great reviews. Her image 'Beautiful Isolation' was highly commended in the 2018 Wildlifephoto.com contest and most recently she was awarded Highly Commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA) 2019 with her image 'The Magic of the woods'.

Heidi is a varied photographer and enjoys different genres. Her love and affinity with animals has enabled her to provide bespoke pet photography sessions where she can create stylised shots and capture the character of pets. She also takes commissions for families, with or without pets!

"It's simple, I believe that everyone should be able to have beautiful images of who they love, whether they have four legs or two."
